TXU Energy’s showy display of fifteen miles of earth-friendly LED lights illuminate centuries-old oak trees. That’s two million lights to marvel at as you sip hot chocolate and traverse the paths to see fantastic beasts up close and in person! Zoo Lights’ 7th season is bigger and better than ever, and because it’s on display through mid-January, it extends all the Christmas “feels” well into the new year! The Christmas Train – thru December 22nd
VICTORY CAMP, ALVIN, TX
Each year in December, hundreds of volunteers come together to setup and host the Christmas Train at Victory Camp in Alvin. The event began back in 2000, and over the years has quickly become one of the Houston areas favorite Christmas Events. The train is open to the public and all ages are welcome. The train ride is a unique experience through over 300,000 lights and hundreds of Christmas decorations. Colorful gingerbread villages, penguin snowscapes, a Nativity scene, and life size storybook illustrations are all some of the sights you and your family will experience along the way.
