And to make the most of this festive season, Precision Roof Crafters wants to recommend a sensory overload of sights, sounds, smells and tastes so that your family can rightfully indulge in some serious fun! Returning for its 4th season, Magical Holiday Lights is one of the few attractions that your family (and visiting relatives) will find open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day! It’s one of the largest holiday lights festivals of its kind, and the biggest lantern festival in the nation! Magical Winter Lights is featuring more impressive and creative lanterns this year than ever before. Zoo Lights – Houston Zoo, thru January 13th

TXU Energy’s showy display of fifteen miles of earth-friendly LED lights illuminate centuries-old oak trees. That’s two million lights to marvel at as you sip hot chocolate and traverse the paths to see fantastic beasts up close and in person! Zoo Lights’ 7th season is bigger and better than ever, and because it’s on display through mid-January, it extends all the Christmas “feels” well into the new year! A dazzling bridge is your boulevard into a winter wonderland as Ima Hogg’s 14-acre estate glitters and beckons with lights and family activities. Fly, fall, or hang onto the wall! Slide, splat, and live to laugh about it! Come on, the fact that you are ice skating in Houston, Texas is wonderfully ridiculous, isn’t it? The Christmas Train – thru December 22nd
VICTORY CAMP, ALVIN, TX

Each year in December, hundreds of volunteers come together to setup and host the Christmas Train at Victory Camp in Alvin. The event began back in 2000, and over the years has quickly become one of the Houston areas favorite Christmas Events. The train is open to the public and all ages are welcome. The train ride is a unique experience through over 300,000 lights and hundreds of Christmas decorations. Colorful gingerbread villages, penguin snowscapes, a Nativity scene, and life size storybook illustrations are all some of the sights you and your family will experience along the way.
